Jinty wins the Toyota 350

Welsh TRT star Jinty took his 5th TRT Cup victory of the season at the Sonoma Raceway after a hard long 28 lap distance race. The victory has now helped him clinch a spot in the Chase where he is the most favored to claim the top seed and start off the Chase with the advantage. In 2nd place would be Part Time driver and Virgin Mobile driver Pan continuing his 100% podium rate at the Californian track. However the Mexican driver still has yet to win at Sonoma in the Cup Series. P3 would be Season 2 Cup Champion Sippins who joined late and had a quiet but successful day. P4 was rookie PJ. PJ joined the grid only 2 weeks ago and has already impressed. Despite missing out on the podium he led many laps and challenged for the win almost all race. This has helped him climb up the standings very fast and is now in prime position to take valuable positions in the chase from drivers like Alejandro and potentially even Kimi. P5 Lewis who had a mid race still scored enough points to clinch a spot in the Chase. He currently sits P2 in the championship behind Jinty impressively staying 2nd all season even with 0 victories. (Dw my goat you’ll win soon) Other finishers P6-Supra/AQuadrilateral (First TRT Start) P7-Alejandro (90% Rule Finish) The next race of the season will be held at Talladega Superspeedway.
